With over a decade in real estate and 15+ years of service as a former police officer, Justen brings dedication, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every aspect of his career. As the Broker-in-Charge and co-owner of Southern Oaks Realty, he specializes in land sales and leads the Property Management Division, ensuring landowners and investors receive top-tier service and care for their properties. His deep knowledge of the industry, combined with his hands-on approach, allows him to navigate the complexities of real estate with confidence and expertise.

Justen grew up on a 250-acre Christmas tree farm, giving him an intimate understanding of land, its value, and its potential. Before transitioning to real estate, Justen served as a police officer for 15 years, a career that shaped his strong values of integrity, dedication, and service—principles he continues to uphold in his work today.

A devoted husband and proud father of a son and daughter, Justen finds joy in family time and the great outdoors. Whether camping in the Airstream with his family and two dogs—Timber, a Labrador, and Hank, a Goldendoodle—or tackling home projects with his sawmill, he embraces a hands-on approach to life.

Leslie brings a unique blend of experience and expertise to the real estate industry. Before becoming a Co-Owner of Southern Oaks Realty, she spent over 17 years in education, teaching Chemistry, Biology, and Forensic Science, and most recently serving in administrative roles. Her dedication to teaching earned her national recognition as the National Online Teacher of the Year.

Leslie’s background in education has shaped her into an exceptional real estate professional.  Specializing in Residential Sales and short-term rental management, her ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and break down intricate details into clear, actionable insights makes her an invaluable guide for buyers and sellers alike. She listens intently to her clients, going far beyond automated searches to find the perfect properties—especially those with strong ROI.

JARROD S. WEIANT
Realtor

Jarrod is known for his honesty, integrity, and passion for serving others. A skilled leader with expertise in communication, problem-solving, and negotiation, he has lived in the region for nearly 20 years and is dedicated to meeting the needs of buyers, sellers, and investors.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Jarrod joined the U.S. Army in 2002, becoming a Green Beret and serving 21 years—17 of them with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg. He deployed 11 times across the Middle East and Africa.

He holds a B.S. in Strategic Studies from Norwich University, a management certificate from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, and is pursuing an MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler. A lifelong learner, he enjoys classic literature, history, and real estate investing.

Jarrod and his wife, Rebecca, live in New Hill with their four children and their dog, Elsie. He loves spending time with family, traveling, watching soccer, and trail running with Elsie.

Growing up on the shores of Carolina Beach and studying in the mountains at Appalachian State University, Scott Truong is a proud North Carolina native with a deep appreciation for the beauty of his home state. In addition to his successful career in cybersecurity risk management in FinTech, Scott expanded to real estate because he wanted to make a direct impact in people’s lives—helping them find not just a house, but a place to call home.

Scott is a passionate soccer fan (Go Manchester City, Charlotte FC, & NC Courage!) and thinks he's a competitive pickleball player. On the weekends, you can find Scott and his wife and 5-pound Yorkie exploring new restaurants in the area and enjoying what RDU has to offer.
